Book Review – The A-Z of You and Me

📚The A-Z of You and Me – James Hannah

⚪️ Blurb: Ivo fell for her.

He fell for a girl he can’t get back.
Now he’s hoping for something.
While he waits he plays a game:
He chooses a body part and tells us its link to the past he threw away.
He tells us the story of how she found him, and how he lost her.
But he doesn’t have long.

And he still has one thing left to do …

⚪️ My review: I have never ever read anything as brilliant as this, and I really do mean that. It is a book that every single person seriously MUST read.

There is also no way I can write a proper review!  I am heartbroken in so many different ways. I feel lost without the words, memories, and mind of protagonist Ivo. It’s a deep feeling of loss, but has an underlying side of happiness with it. Confusing? Yeah, so your see why a review would make no sense.

All I can say is that the original concept of this book provides an enormous and complex story that had you lost into its pages. It’s emotional, clever, witty and has the biggest overall sense of anticipation, suspense and endearment a book can offer. You will stop numerous times during it to question yourself about things in life that you wouldn’t actually ever  think about. That’s how strong, deep and connecting it is.
Do you know what makes it even more special? This is author James Hannah’s debut novel. As a bibliophile this excites me greatly!

A poignant and utterly magnificent book.
Overwhelmingly genius!
