Happy Tuesday everyone.
We’re here today on day one of the blog tour for the absolutely amazing children’s book, Labyrinth Junction!
Let’s jump right in…
🐉Blurb: A magical land. A prison in the sky. An underwater city.
Little does Ben envisage this is what awaits him as he escapes the clutches of two bullies and climbs into the dark and gloomy cave. That’s when he discovers it, deep inside…Labyrinth Junction, a gateway to other worlds! Once he gets past the old witch standing guard, he’s led down a dark tunnel by a peculiar talking dog into the strange and magical land of Numblebrook and his adventures truly begin!
With his life in peril and trapped in Numblebrook, Ben befriends a pretty orphan girl called Amy and her pet dragon. Together, they and the strange Moonbeamer people set off on a series of dangerous missions in an effort to solve a riddle, free the land of the evil King and get Ben back home.
Labyrinth Junction is an exciting and fast moving fantasy story full of perilous adventures and heart warming friendships. It is a story about the sheer bravery and determination of a young boy who is prepared to risk his life if it means finding his way home. It will appeal to 8 – 12 year olds with a taste for adventure and excitement.
🐉My Thoughts: First of all can I just say that the cover to Labyrinth Junction is utterly fantastic! I absolutely adore it. For a children’s book I just found it so much more endearing and something more child like which would make children want to read it more. I don’t even care if that doesn’t make sense it makes sense to me 🤦🏻♀️😂
If you have younger children who love adventures and magic and puzzles and dragons and witches and weirdness then this is your book. Labyrinth Junction is a fast-paced, jam packed, clever and spell-bounding read.
I’m a 36 year old mum of two teenage boys and I absolutely loved every minute of it. I even wanted them to read it, but of course it’s not a games console or a phone. Such a shame! I wish I had this in their library when they were younger because it for sure would have been one of their favourites.
When it comes to younger readers keeping them involved or interested can be a very hard thing. I’ll give HDS a huge pat on the back here because she has managed to produce excitement in every page. She has managed to give our children a captivating book of wonder and intrigue. It’s honestly a fantastic children’s book. I cannot recommend it to you more.
I’m so looking forward to seeing what happens when we pass Labyrinth Junction again.

So that’s me. Today has been one for the kids, but I encourage you all to grab a copy for a youngster you can read it with, or as a gift for them to read. Or even if you’re like me and still a big kid at heart, just for yourself. We never lose that child like magic in our hearts do we?
As always a huge thank you for joining me here at TBGWP today. I appreciate your time greatly!
Shout out to HDS herself for giving us and our children something wonderful and to the lovely Anne over at LCDP for inviting me onto the tour.
Love always, N 😘
